Meet Boo the Pig - official guardian of the farm.

Boo came to us, his name included, a couple of years ago from a family in Eagle Rock that was no longer able to care for him. He took to his new surroundings well and within a short time was running the farm. While generally a happy pig, like anyone he can get a bit grumpy at times, especially if he feels his territory is being threatened or if hens or bunnies start annoying him. In the colder months, Boo spends his nights fully wrapped in blankets inside his house. When the nights are warmer he enjoys sleeping in hay piles in near the other animals - always on the lookout for pesky coyotes that are seeking a middle-of-the-night snack.

My favorite part of the day is visiting Boo, seeing his tail wagging in happiness, and him rolling over so I can scratch his belly.
